Jason Marcus graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2006. While at UGA, Mr. Marcus served as notes editor for the Intellectual Property Law Journal and as president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association. Mr. Marcus is admitted to practice in the state of Georgia, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
During law school, Mr. Marcus worked for a civil litigation boutique specializing in asbestos-related litigation defense. In 2007, Mr. Marcus clerked for the Honorable Magistrate Judge G.R. Smith of the Southern District of Georgia. Upon completion of his clerkship, Mr. Marcus joined a general practice, where he was able gain a significant amount of trial experience in a variety of areas, including civil litigation, criminal defense, landlord-tenant law, and family law. In 2008, Mr. Marcus joined the firm of Bothwell, Bracker, and Vann.
