Julie Keeton Bracker received her J.D. magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2002 and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While at Vanderbilt, she served as Executive Student Writing Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and was a member of the Moot Court Board. Ms. Bracker is presently admitted to practice in all Georgia state courts and the Northern District of Georgia.
From 2002 to 2006, Ms. Bracker worked in a large-firm commercial litigation practice. Her practice included business tort, malpractice, securities, and trademark cases as well as contractual disputes, before state and federal courts as well as in arbitration. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Bracker worked in the fields of education and psychology. As a research associate for Vanderbilt University, her work on second language acquisition was published as part of several national conferences. As a teacher and curriculum specialist for Fulton County Schools, she was responsible for mathematics curriculum development and teacher training for the entire Fulton County school district.
In 2006, Ms. Bracker joined Bothwell Bracker & Vann to focus her practice on False Claims Act qui tam relator whistleblower actions. Ms. Bracker has been lead counsel or co-counsel on several FCA cases and has been sole lead counsel at mediation leading to excellent settlements for her clients. Ms. Bracker’s immersion in the field of qui tam relator representation has earned her a reputation among clients as knowledgeable, experienced and professional. In addition to her excellent client relations, Ms. Bracker is recognized as having exceptional research and writing skills that have served the firm well in addressing numerous difficult litigation issues that uniquely arise in FCA litigation. Ms. Bracker also has extensive knowledge of and experience in the area of electronic discovery that is at the cutting edge of all civil litigation.
